Enugu state Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has fulfilled his N5 million pledge he made to the Super Eagles, The 54-year-old Governor was said to have made the money available through his Sports Commissioner Joseph Udedi - He made the promise before the Super Eagles traveled to Russia for the 2018 World Cup Despite not making it out of the group stages at the Russia 2018 World Cup, the Super Eagles of Nigeria have been given the sum of N5 million by Enugu state Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi. According to the report by Punch, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi had promised the Super Eagles the money before they traveled to Russia for the 2018 World Cup. The report added that the Governor fulfilled his promise to the Super Eagles on Tuesday, July 10, when he presented a cheque through the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Joseph Udedi.
