Does cold water help you with muscle cramps?

Drinking water and sports drinks can prevent having cramps in the first place, but applying cold water or ice  generally doesn't help with muscle cramps. In fact, applying cold may actually cause cramps or make them even worse. If you have muscle cramps, you could try applying heat♨, or gentle stretches and massages. Make sure you have cramping, not muscle injury - injuries should be treated with ice rather than heat.
