South Africa’s president, Jacob Zuma, has vowed not to resign, He denied allegations of wrongdoings levelled against him - With his refusal to resign, the ANC has reportedly decided to initiate a no-confidence motion against him on Thursday, February 15 Following President Jacob Zuma’s alleged refusal to resign, South Africa’s ruling African National Congress (ANC) would on Thursday, February 15, initiate a no-confidence motion against the president at the parliament. Premium Times reports that Zuma refused to stand down even after police raided homes of his associates, the Gupta family, in Johannesburg. NAIJ.com gathered that the Guptas, who have been named in a series of corruption probes, are said to be associates of Zuma, who has led South Africa since 2009.
